This is a passion project I have been building since 2023. It is a command-based game run by a discord bot where you invade countries, forge alliances, and develop economies. This web page contains a nice summary of everything to do with the bot. Feel free to use the navigation bar at the top right to learn more about the bot.
The most recent updates add Advertisements - a small but important feature, to promote your products or send triumphant messages to the globe, without revealing who you are.
To send any message to the public advertisement channel, use the -broadcast <message> command. To view the cost of a potential message, do -broadcast cost <message>.
For now, you can only broadcast a message every 8 hours, so the channel isn't flooded. Though I may change this after some play-testing.
This update also integrates AI into the -help command. You saw that right, Artificial Intelligence! You can ask the bot any question about how to play, a command you're looking for, attack strategies, etc., and it'll give you an answer!
This update is planned to be released on the 26th of August. The main addition is currently top-secret and will be a surprise, but some small changes have been revealed: upgrade and setcapital costs will be adjusted, naval bugs will be fixed, and most importantly, a new map will be released! Bid your farewells to the Southeast Asia map, it has served us well!
In the works currently is the diplomacy update. It will completely reshape the way alliances and peace treaties work in War Bot. Additionally, a new statistic, military modernization, will be added and awarded on a per battle basis.
